जब मैं अपने नियमित प्लगइन, Broken Link Checker, से टूटे लिंक की जांच कर रहा था, तो मैंने पाया कि स्थानीय स्कैन अब काम नहीं कर रहा था, संभवतः किसी प्रकार की सर्वर सुरक्षा के कारण। तो मैंने अपने पास पड़े एक बहुत ही सरल फ़ंक्शन को लिया और Gemini की मदद से उसमें थोड़ा बदलाव किया ताकि यह अधिक उपयोगकर्ता-अनुकूल हो और स्कैन चलाकर किसी भी टूटे हुए लिंक को ठीक कर सके।
जबकि टूटे हुए लिंक मशरूम की तरह उग रहे हैं, इस यात्रा में मैंने ट्विटर (X) लिंक के बड़े पैमाने पर पलायन को देखा है, खाते झुंड में गायब हो रहे हैं। सैकड़ों खाते और/या ट्वीट्स जो अब मौजूद नहीं हैं, पहले ही सामने आ चुके हैं, लेकिन मैं इस विषय को वेब की मृत्यु पर भविष्य में लिखे जाने वाले लेख के लिए छोड़ देता हूँ, जैसा कि हम इसे जानते थे।

3 - बैच स्कैनिंग। प्रत्येक बार जब आप इस बटन को दबाते हैं, तो 10 प्रविष्टियाँ स्कैन की जाएँगी।

14 - लिंक हटाएँ। यह विकल्प हाइपरलिंक को हटा देता है, लेकिन पोस्ट या पेज में लिंक टेक्स्ट को बरकरार रखता है, यदि आपके पास कोई वैकल्पिक URL नहीं है या आप कोई जोड़ना नहीं चाहते।
मैं शुरू से ही स्पष्ट कर दूँ कि यह एक बार के लिए लिखा गया फ़ंक्शन है; सफ़ाई पूरी होने के बाद इसे हटा देने की सलाह दी जाती है। मुझे नहीं लगता कि मैं इसमें और कोई बदलाव करूँगा, लेकिन अगर करूँगा तो मैं कोड यहीं अपडेट कर दूँगा।
