Cartoon of 26/12/2021 in CTXT
This is the last vignette of this year, at least for CTXT. Next weekend we will resume the grids with whatever 2022 brings us.
The last days of the year have had some good news. At a quarter past three on 19 September, the Cumbre Vieja volcano erupted and after almost three months, on 25 December, the activity was technically over. The 10 days that scientists had established to officially end the eruption were over.
This year, which I also regret to describe as another shitty year, has taken away some loved ones and has also hit hard those of us who have survived on all fronts due to the work and misfortune of the pandemic. Including our mental health.
There are those who suspect that the pandemic may be on the wane over the next year and become an end in itself, but the only thing that is certain is that we are still in the midst of a pandemic endemicThe only thing that is certain is that we are overcome by wishful thinking and lack, as always, certainty.
I have never believed in what they call luck. Even so, as it is free and to some extent necessary to wish for it, I hope that by the 22nd we all get a good slice of luck, which is about time.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you, kind reader, for your daily or occasional visit to this blog.
