The 6th Street Showcase of Libertarian Cartoons is already underway and you can submit your work until 15 August 2024.
The 6thMCVL is part of the activities programmed in the "7º Alcuentru d'escritos llibertarios", a self-managed anarchist bookfair with different activities that gives preference to fanzines, comics and other types of self-publishing, which has been held in León since 2018.
The contributions received will be printed in A3 size in colour and will be pasted on the pedestrian walkway of the FEVE in León (Spain).
A digital fanzine with Creative Commons, Copyleft or derivative licences will be produced with the works sent in, which will be available on the same page, and a paper edition will be considered in order to reduce the costs of the exhibition.
In terms of subject matter, it is hoped that themes close to libertarian thought will be addressed, provoking viewers from laughter to reflection. This year they intend to focus especially on issues related to the GENOCIDE IN GAZA. However, there are no restrictions as to the subject matter, which is left to the discretion of the participants.
