Extermination. Cartoon of 04/12/2025 in CTXT
Translation of the cartoon: "While one of the most documented exterminations in the history of history was going on, they were still talking about alleged and supposed".
A video shows members of the Israel Defense Forces unceremoniously executing two Palestinians in the West Bank. The Palestinian Authority (PA) Government Communication Centre calls it an absolute extrajudicial killing. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the Israeli police acknowledged what they called "the incident", but made no statements about it because they are used to impunity and to not being held accountable for their crimes.
The UN said it was "appalled" by what it described as the "brazen murder" of two Palestinians by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, describing it as an "apparent summary execution".
On 27 November, during an Israeli military incursion into the northern West Bank city of Jenin, soldiers shot two Palestinians at close range, killing Yusef 'Asa'sah, 39, and al-Muntaser bel-lah 'Abdallah, 26.
The footage shows the two Palestinians, defined by the army as "wanted", being taken out of a building by soldiers and surrendering to them. The soldiers then order them to go back inside and sit on the ground, and then execute them, apparently without them posing any threat.

Today (Thursday), during an Israeli military raid on the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank, soldiers were filmed shooting two Palestinians at point-blank range, killing Yusef 'Asa'sah, 39 years old, and al-Muntaser... pic.twitter.com/Mq3AoogjXA
B'Tselem executive director Yuli Novak said: "The execution documented today is the result of an accelerated process of dehumanisation of Palestinians and the total neglect of their lives by the Israeli regime. There is no mechanism in Israel that acts to stop the killing of Palestinians or is able to prosecute those responsible. It is therefore the duty of the international community to put an end to Israel's impunity and to hold accountable those responsible for planning and carrying out its criminal policies against the Palestinian people".
This is just another chapter in the book of Israel's ongoing genocide in Palestine to which must be added rape and torture of all kinds such as these, for which former Israeli military attorney general, Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, was arrested by police in connection with the leak of a video showing a Palestinian detainee being tortured and raped at the Sde Teima detention centre.
On 11 November, Al Jazeera took stock of how many times Israel has violated the ceasefire in Gaza. According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, Israel fired on civilians 164 times, raided residential areas beyond the "yellow line" 25 times, shelled Gaza 280 times and demolished people's property 118 times. They also add that Israel had also detained 35 Palestinians in Gaza over the past month and conclude that since the ceasefire came into effect, Israeli attacks have killed at least 373 Palestinians and injured 970.
If you have been convinced that the ceasefire has put an end to the extermination of the Palestinian population, get it out of your head.
