Or put another way, as this illustration broadcast by the Turkish public news channel TRT World shows, Israel has murdered an entire classroom full of children every day since 7 October 2023.
I no longer know how to count the genocide to make people aware of this barbarity, maybe we have to start expressing the numbers on football pitches. The murderers, in addition to preventing the distribution of food, have even set up traps at fake humanitarian aid points with the intention of executing all those who approach. Some are shot dead and those who manage to escape are starved to death.
And the worst, cruel and saddest thing about all this is that they do it with absolute impunity while exposing genocide without any concealment. Not even the Nazis went that far.
An average of 28 children are killed every day in Gaza. This has been the case for almost two years now. And tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and the next it will happen again if no one with sufficient power forcefully prevents it. 17,000 children have already died at the hands of Israel's army of murderers and some 33,000 have been injured in Gaza, according to UNICEF.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell said that each and every one of Gaza's one million children has faced immense suffering and will suffer lifelong consequences.
On 14 July, Israel killed a dozen people in Gaza, many of them children, who were waiting to collect water. The Israeli army said a"technical error" had caused an ammunition - intended for an Islamic Jihad militant - to "fall" dozens of metres from its target. The lies to justify the killings are almost as disgusting as the act itself.
A new massacre "buries" the previous one. Israel continues to execute Palestinians unceremoniously as they try to get water and food, which only aggravates the situation.
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor team documented 42 cases, mostly children, elderly and pregnant women, who arrived at Gaza hospitals collapsing from severe malnutrition in just six hours, while Israel maintains a suffocating policy of starvation against more than 2 million Palestinians, cutting off food, aid and access to basic necessities in violation of international law.
Hypocrisy rules all. A few days ago Israel attacked the church of the Holy Family, the only Catholic church in Gaza, killing 3 people and wounding several others, including the parish priest.
Well, now we have to read such vomitous things as Trump "reprimanding" Netanyahu. True black humour. There is no more room for disgust and cynicism. I imagine that in this "reprimand" of Trump's psychopath, his biggest financier and arms supplier ordered him to continue annihilating Muslims as he has been doing so far.
Netanyahu also phoned the Pope to spout any of the bullshit lies he spouts every time he murders tens or hundreds of civilians in one fell swoop.
In an interview on Italian RAI 2's Tg2 Post programme, Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, said of the call:
"I think it was timely, it was not possible not to explain to the Pope, not to inform the Pope directly of what happened, which is absolutely serious. So I find the phone call positive, I find the Israeli Prime Minister's willingness to speak directly with Pope Leo positive".
As it is, Israel kills civilians by the handful every day, but the good thing for the Vatican is that this time they have deigned to make a phone call to the Pope because the dead were or could have been Catholics.
Another note that should not be missing from history books.
