Peace

Peace is understood as a state of tranquillity and harmony in human relations, characterised by justice, equity and mutual respect. It implies the non-violent resolution of conflicts and the creation of social, political and economic conditions that allow for the integral development of all individuals. Peace is not a passive state, but an active process that requires the commitment and participation of all members of society.

The desire for peace has been a constant in human history. Since ancient times, cultures and even some religions have sought to promote values such as compassion, tolerance and dialogue as ways to achieve social harmony. Peace treaties between nations and peace movements throughout history bear witness to the ongoing effort to overcome violence and build a more just and peaceful world. Something that seems unattainable.
