Some images of Spanish Civil War comics from the exhibition, Children and Propaganda 1936-1939.

Publications for children that had no sex but did call for violence at the top of their voices, including evangelism.
Very martial arm-in-arm boys on the masthead of “Arrows”
White” humour with “arrow” aesthetics and the ever-present “Arriba España” (Up with Spain)
Although some comics also went on the counterattack, most of those that can be downloaded are about “national” propaganda with Francoist cometarros.
Very curious are some pages where they tell the “history” of the national movement
This interesting exhibition organised by the Centro Documental de la Memoria Histórica of the Ministry of Culture, which brings together copies of comics from the Spanish Civil War, also shows many other pages of adventure and humour comics not related to the war.
The exhibition, entitled Niños y Propaganda. 1936-1939, ends today at the Sala Santo Domingo de la Cruz in Salamanca, but the pages in PDF format are of quite good quality can be downloaded at this address
