No news from Palestine

No News from Palestine is the title of this exhibition at the Communication Library and General Newspaper Library of the UAB on the profession of journalist in Palestine, which aims to denounce the current information blockade imposed on this territory, preventing the entry of international media, massacring Palestinian journalists and closing television channels; it also reflects the concern for the future of a people persecuted for more than 75 years with such cruelty that the UN itself speaks, in its most recent reports, of apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide.

This exhibition is accompanied by a photographic exhibition ("Silenced Voices"), produced by the Journalism for Peace Working Group of the Catalan Association of Journalists, which pays tribute to the journalists and other media professionals who have been killed since October 2023 while reporting on the ground, by constructing a mural with their photographs.
