The cover of El pueblo contra los cómics is by Raúlo Cáceres
The people against comics is the work of Ignacio Fernández Sarasola, professor of constitutional law at the University of Oviedo, and is the result of more than a decade of study and research on the anti-comics campaigns from North America to Europe.
520 pages in black and white, bound in paperback with flaps. A very nice cover by Raúlo and layout by Antonio Moreno. The book breaks down how the hatred of comics germinated, the political and media interests that guided the orchestrated campaign against them, the lies that were told, the arguments that broke out among legislators and the consequences for the industries in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain.
This new issue of the Tebeotextos collection, as always, will be free of charge for all ACyT members who are up to date with their membership fees. It can also be purchased for 39,95€ by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org
