Not a year goes by without this supposedly outdated debate (I say supposedly because it is unreal) about the illusion of the Lottery and all that nonsense.
There is a lottery all year round, every week, and many other games of chance with the bait of money as a lucky prize. A placebo to recreate the illusion, now it is an illusion, that an arbitrary and unexpected twist of fate can take you away from poverty and that some of this is in your hand.
