Summer is still four days away, but the infernal heat is already here. With this scorching heat, you feel like anything but warming up and starting to write. That's why some of my posts have been stuck in the well of drafts, but I'm going to rescue them.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) was a US-Israeli invention whose main purpose was to oversee aid distribution in the Palestinian enclave without the intervention of third party NGOs. In other words, it was a charade to further alienate and exclude the UN and any humanitarian organisation, especially UNRWA, from the scene.
This opaque foundation was rejected by the United Nations as failing to comply with the principles of impartiality and neutrality, and for leaving aid to the whim of political and military interests.
The GHF 's self-styled "humanitarian" deception was soon shown for what it was, a cynical and hypocritical whitewashing operation to try to fool the world into believing that the same genocidaires were helping the Palestinian people.
This entity, made up of former US military and CIA personnel, was created in February in Switzerland and works together with private US security and logistics companies, such as UG Solutions and Safe Reach Solutions, to the delight of contractors and other unscrupulous profiteering parasites who turn any humanitarian disaster, war or carnage into a business.
Israel agreed to allow the foundation to operate, but without participating directly in the distribution of aid, and they were quick to sabotage this supposed distribution, as they have been doing so far.
The US also did its part to hinder the entry of humanitarian aid, and in early June, the US government single-handedly vetoed a resolution to facilitate humanitarian aid in Gaza. This unilateral veto of a UN Security Council resolution calling for an "immediate, unconditional and permanent" ceasefire in Gaza is not the first and will not be the last. This is the complicit role of the US in genocide.
Who's who in the GHF?
It soon became clear that this organisation, the only one authorised by Israel and the US, was just another cruel propaganda tool. The GHF only delivered food to the south, leaving the vast majority of Gaza's population with nothing. Israel's mismanagement of humanitarian aid distribution continues to kill Palestinians in Gaza. It is the sole mission of the genocidaires, to kill them any way they can.
The GHF has suspended its "humanitarian" operations several times under various excuses, each one more embarrassing than the last, "for security reasons", most recently indefinitely after Israel's attacks on Iran.
